Terence “TJ” Finley, Jr. is an associate attorney with Hunt Ortmann Palffy Nieves Darling & Mah, Inc. TJ’s practice is heavily concentrated in construction disputes and litigation, where he represents a diverse clientele, including general contractors, subcontractors, developers, owners, and sureties. His construction practice spans complex commercial and public works projects, as well as residential matters, including representing individual homeowners in home remediation and construction defect disputes.
Mr. Finley’s previous law experience centered on complex civil litigation and dispute resolution matters. His practice covered a broad range of corporate litigation matters, including complex contractual matters, securities litigation, and entertainment and media litigation. Terence has represented clients in white collar and securities investigations in the telecommunications and oil & gas industries as well as complex disputes involving trusts and insurance coverage.
TJ has managed cases in Federal and State Court leading as counsel in multiple trials, mediations, and arbitrations. He has used his leadership to implement advantageous litigation strategies securing successful and favorable outcomes for clients.
TJ obtained a Juris Doctorate from Duke University School of Law and an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
