David J. Sire, Jr. is Senior Counsel with Hunt Ortmann Palffy Nieves Darling & Mah, Inc. Mr. Sire’s law practice is concentrated in construction litigation matters representing a wide range of clients such as general contractors, subcontractors, sureties, owners, and developers. He drafts, reviews, negotiates, and revises construction contracts and related documents including works projects with extensive general conditions. Mr. Sire has worked on real estate and business law matters. He has counseled clients on matters involving competitive bidding disputes, design-build projects, and prevailing wage compliance with DLSE and DFEH administrative actions. Mr. Sire has attended hundreds of mediations and has second-chaired dozens of arbitrations and trials, including cases involving writs and appeals in state, federal, and administrative courts. He has also represented clients in several federal court cases including a successful federal jury trial. He has obtained favorable judgments and settlements for clients ranging from thousands of dollars to multi-million dollar amounts.
