John McNulty is an associate with Hunt Ortmann Palffy Nieves Darling & Mah, Inc. John’s previous experience focused on representing a diverse set of clients in a variety of disputes, including real estate, torts, products liability, and civil rights claims. As part of John’s real estate background, he has counseled title insurance companies, private landowners, developers, contractors, and brokers on a wide range of litigation and transactional matters. John has extensive trial, appellate, settlement, and dispute resolution experience.
Immediately prior to joining Hunt Ortmann, John served as a regulatory attorney at Southern California Gas Co., where he represented the company on matters before the California Public Utilities Commission. As a former in-house attorney, John understands the value incisive legal counsel can add to business operations and objectives.
John obtained a Juris Doctorate from the University of Virginia Law School and an undergraduate degree in history from the University of California, Davis.
John is licensed to practice law in the States of California and New York. He is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, United States District Court for the Central District of California, and United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
