Kathlynn Smith, Associate Attorney at Hunt Ortmann, was honored at the National Conference of the Women Construction Owners and Executives in Washington, D.C. as the 2013 Member of the Year. The WCOE honored Kathlynn for her outstanding efforts and service for developing membership in the WCOE. The WCOE is a national organization that creates opportunities for, influences legislation about, and supports women-owned construction companies. Its goal is to make a positive difference for women in the construction industry so there will come a time when gender will cease to be a business issue.
