Hunt Ortmann Palffy Nieves Darling & Mah, Inc. is pleased to welcome back Victoria Ianni Garcia to the Firm. Ms. Garcia joins Senior Counsel, Lawrence (Larry) Lubka and Emily Manninger as former Hunt Ortmann attorneys who have rejoined the Firm since 2021.
During her prior tenure from 2015 to 2017, Ms. Garcia successfully obtained judgments and favorable settlements for large multinational corporations, and owners, contractors, developers and subcontractors on a variety of claims. Ms. Garcia is well versed with delay and disruption claims, construction defects, negligence, liens, and unfair business practices claims. Ms. Garcia will also add her experience with labor and employment claims involving wage and hour litigation, discrimination, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination to the Hunt Ortmann Employment Law Group. Ms. Garcia obtained her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), a Master’s degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and a Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School where she also received pro-bono distinction.
