Hunt Ortmann shareholders Omel Nieves and Richard Mah represented the Water Replenishment District of Southern California (WRD), the largest groundwater management agency in California in a $110 million Groundwater Reliability Improvement Program Recycled Water Project. The team handled the procurement including drafting the RFQ, RFP and contract documents for this project which was selected as Project of the Year by APWA Reporter the official magazine of the American Public Works Association. Hunt Ortmann’s Employment Group Provides California State Required Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
California law newly requires an employer who employs five or more employees, including temporary or seasonal employees, to provide at least two hours of sexual harassment training to all supervisory employees and at least one hour of sexual harassment training to all nonsupervisory employees by January 1, 2020, and once every two years thereafter.
Our training provides interactive, in-person training to satisfy the requirements under California law in an informative and informal format for all employers. We have training sessions for both supervisory and non-supervisory employees.
