Cal/OSHA extended these COVID-19 standards until December 2022. This third extension provides relief from the expiration that was scheduled for May 6, 2022. Take note that the requirements for unvaccinated employees now apply to all employees. The Emergency Temporary Standards (“ETS”) requires employers to offer testing to all symptomatic employees regardless of whether they are vaccinated. Return to work testing may be self-administered.
NOTE: These ETS, in some instances, may impose more stringent or less stringent standards from those in place through the California Department of Public Health or local authorities.
