Paul Rogoff is a trial lawyer and associate attorney at Hunt Ortmann. Mr. Rogoff has represented clients in litigation and dispute resolution in a broad array of matters, though he has been narrowing his focus to the handling of complex construction, commercial and business litigation disputes. In addition to his extensive trial experience, Mr. Rogoff’s practice also includes motion practice, appellate drafting, oral argument, costs and fees litigation, discovery and pretrial investigation. He has argued before both state and federal courts of appeal and served as a Judicial Clerk for Hon. Wm. Wayne Justice; District Court, Western District of Texas.
•Part of a team that successfully defended, in a four-month jury trial, a film production company against a multi-million dollar breach of contract claim.
•Represented a microprocessor manufacturer in a worldwide monopolization suit and related worldwide and domestic regulatory investigations and helped obtain a
$1.25 billion settlement and wide-ranging injunctive relief. The historic settlement was one of the largest single plaintiff recoveries ever reported. The
settlement capped a series of litigation and regulatory wins around the world.
•Part of the team involved in the criminal trial of Jeffrey Skilling, the former CEO of Enron, in his criminal trial, at sentencing and on appeal.
