Cipriana Huerta is a law clerk for the Firm’s Labor & Employment practice group. Prior to joining Hunt Ortmann Palffy Nieves Darling & Mah, Inc., Ms. Huerta was a paralegal for six years in both big law and boutique firms in the Los Angeles area, focusing on labor and employment, complex business matters, and intellectual property litigation.
Ms. Huerta will receive her Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, with a dual concentration in Entertainment and Media Law, and Technology Law and Entrepreneurship. At Southwestern, Ms. Huerta was a Quarter-Finalist Advocate in the Negotiations Honors Program, a Clinician in the nationally ranked Entertainment and Arts Legal Clinic, and a Student Editor for the ABA recognized Journal of International Media and Entertainment Law.
Ms. Huerta graduated with honors from UCLA’s Paralegal Studies Program and received her Bachelor of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, with a minor in Spanish.
